My life will never be the same and nobody will ever take your place. You were more that just a pet, you were like a best friend. I still remember the exact day when you became a part of our family. They brought you in, all tiny and cute, but I was scared of you so I sat at the very top part of the couch so that you couldn’t “reach” me. You looked at me and barked, then I picked you up and I knew instantly my life would never be the same. You truly were the most beautiful part of my life. I’ve cried a lot in your absence and this house is way too quiet now, but I know that as long as you remain in my heart I will eventually be fine. I’m going to miss you coming into my room every morning, pushing the door open with your nose, and falling asleep at the foot of my bed. I’m going to miss you snoring super loud when I try to sleep. I’m going to miss you sitting at the door watching me as I come home. But most of all I’m going to miss the way you brought light to our family.
